National Responsible Gambling Program
The National Responsible Gambling Program (NRGP) is a South African initiative dedicated to promoting safer gambling practices and offering support for individuals struggling with gambling issues. It provides a range of services to educate the public about the risks of gambling and to assist those affected by problem gambling. NRGP is offered by the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation (SARGF). This foundation is a non-governmental organization that works with various stakeholders.

South African National Gambling Board

NRGP Self-Exclusion Program
If you find yourself in trouble due to your excessive gambling habits, you can request to be excluded from gambling. While the emphasis is still on the individual to bring their own gambling behaviour under control, the self-exclusion period could help you to take a break from gambling while you get help from the SARGF National Responsible Gambling Programme.

The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) is at the forefront of patient advocacy, education and destigmatisation of mental illness in the country. Its expertise lies in assisting patients and callers throughout South Africa with mental health queries. It has on its board a powerful team of Patients, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and General Practitioners. SADAG was established to serve as a support network for the thousands of South Africans who live with mental health problems.
